Assessment and Evaluation

Overall, a comprehensive psychological evaluation may involve a combination of these approaches to gather a complete picture of the client's mental health and functioning.

Diagnostic clarification refers to the process of obtaining a more accurate and detailed understanding of a patient's symptoms and condition. This may involve conducting additional assessments, tests, or evaluations to rule out other potential diagnoses or to confirm a suspected diagnosis.

Treatment planning involves developing a comprehensive treatment plan for a patient based on their specific needs, goals, and preferences. This may involve collaborating with other healthcare professionals and considering various treatment options, such as medication, therapy, or lifestyle changes.

Disability evaluations are assessments conducted to determine the extent of a patient's disability and their ability to perform certain tasks or activities. This may be necessary for legal or insurance purposes.

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity evaluations are assessments conducted to diagnose and evaluate the severity of ADHD symptoms in children and adults. This may involve a combination of interviews, questionnaires, and behavioral observations.

Cognitive evaluations are assessments conducted to evaluate a patient's cognitive abilities, such as memory, attention, and problem-solving skills. This may be necessary to diagnose learning disorders, developmental delays, or dementia.

Substance Abuse/Dependence evaluations are assessments conducted to evaluate a patient's substance use and determine if they meet criteria for a substance use disorder. This may involve a combination of interviews, questionnaires, and drug testing.

Fitness for Duty evaluations are assessments conducted to determine if an individual is physically and mentally capable of performing their job duties. This may be necessary for certain professions, such as law enforcement or military personnel.

Parental Fitness evaluations are assessments conducted to evaluate a parent's ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for their child. This may be necessary in cases of custody disputes or child welfare investigations.

Behavioral Medicine evaluations are assessments conducted to evaluate a patient's psychological and behavioral factors that may impact their physical health. This may be necessary for bariatric candidates or individuals seeking gender confirmation surgery.

Telehealth services may also be helpful during times of crisis or when in-person appointments are not possible due to public health concerns.

Our team is committed to providing high-quality care through telehealth services, and we work closely with clients to ensure that they have the support and resources they need to succeed in their treatment.
